Elopement Photography at Loch Katrine

We went on another adventure (last year)!

I set up a styled shoot with this power couple. One thing I love is when we get cute couples together who express the meaning of love. Like just look at how they look at each other!

A bonus is that this couple are from Lithuania! Why do I mention this? Because it was super cool to get to know people from a different country!

The theme was a Sunrise bridal shoot (we will get back to that…)

We got up at 3am to collect the lovely couple and headed onto our road trip to Loch Arklet. Our wonderful MUA Demi agreed with our crazy plan and did an awesome job in the darkness with a phone light being her main light).

The light started to come through, but it was overcast and no sunrise! But not to panic – this is a photographer’s dream as the light is so naturally soft and flattering. Just look at these two…

We got lucky and really have to thank the team at The Pier Café for opening up the pier for us at Loch Katrine to take some great photos at! They also had a cute doggo who was a little bit too quick, so we didn’t snap any photos to show you (I know, I’m sorry!)

From here we headed towards Loch Arklet and the scenery was stunning! We are so lucky in Scotland as it is so naturally picturesque.
